DONT BOOK ANY EVENT THERE!!! I had booked an xmas do for 20 people all confirmed arranged etc via telephone and e-mail. They had booked us for the wrong night. They ONLY called me to tell me at 1:30pm THAT day!!! they did not even apologise. NOT IMPRESSED!!! I certainly won't use them again and wouldn't want you to go through what I did to find a another venue within 4hours. Lins007 - 2 Dec 2009 11:20 |
This place could be good - but the bar staff are the worst I have ever encountered, first time myself and a friend nearly walked out after waiting 20 minutes to be served whilst the staff served people who clearly had come after us, and we saw this constantly all night with other people, the staff dont give a damn about serving order, which is the basic requisite of being a barman. I was one and its not difficult. 2nd time I went, I did walk out after again waiting an age to be served, gave up, went back to the bar later and both bar staff had disappeared, leaving customers hanging. I will never go here again the staff are a disgrace and need some serious training. Londoner256 - 27 Oct 2009 20:41 |
Went to Digress-City on a Friday night to celebrate my 30th birthday. Cocktails are nice especially during happy hour. Bouncers were also friendly which makes a change. There are 2 rooms of music ... the main room plays what what you here in every other bar/club which is the same old R&B crap. But really enjoyed the club room which plays 70's & 80's party tunes that bring back loads of memories. Had a great time & will definatley return. fivealive - 11 Aug 2009 13:08 |
crappy commercial shithole, got chatted up by some essex girls. only thing close to ale was leffe blonde at 3.90 a bottle,... heres the best bit, house rules state that the bar staff must pour the beers into glasses, fair enough. House rules also state that on Friday nights they have to use plastic cups... end result, 3.90 for 2 thirds of a pint of leffe. avoid at all costs. AshB333 - 18 Apr 2009 01:29 |
Full of 17 year old, blazin squad rejects who commute in from Essex on a Friday evening after finishing up in the garage where they are doing their GNVQ in mechanics to pretend they 'work in the city'. Avoid at all costs. HLC - 2 May 2008 15:18 |
