Think this place will soon be reopened as "STAFFS". Lots of work going on and opening soon. Good to have another option in east molesey. pompeyron - 25 Jul 2012 15:01 |
Recently closed its doors had some good times in there it was a buzzing place hopefully someone will buy it and make it good again. cheekypigeon - 10 Feb 2007 17:40 |
Undoubtably the most vibrant pub in Molesey. Largely targeted at the 20-45 bracket I'd say, although there are older regulars, it's not about age, it's about attitude. Chilled people who like good music, good atmosphere and good company will love it. The real ale brigade will definitely balk at it. StevieCl - 8 Aug 2006 19:57 |
My favourite place in Molesey for a night out - The Prince of Wales comes very close but you have to walk a bit further for that! Great DJ's & live singers. Very friendly bar staff & management, I've heard it's up for sale which is a shame as I like it how it is, although DJ Teaser should do more nights like he used to, they were the best! anonymous - 29 Jun 2006 15:06 |
I live within 30 seconds walk of this pub and it's not really a proper pub. They cater for the leather-sofa type of people rather than than the ale drinkers. Grolsh on tap says it all. The music is ok and this is probably the liveliest venue in Molesey for the under 30s (not being ageist just saying what I see). Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with this place but if you want a "sit down and drink" pub which is a bit quieter then try The Poyntz (opposite) or The Bell. anonymous - 13 Mar 2006 14:10 |
