| An absolutely superb village pub. Recently been taken over by Dan and Jess who have changed the pub completely, a complete refurbishment was made on The Steamer in 2013! They have Indian cuisine every evening, delicious and fresh!! Sky Sports, fresh Italian coffee, great prices and the only pub I know in this area to include a mixer with the spirits!! | Up the hill towards the 'council' end of Welwyn. A McMullens house of two halves (public bar/Lounge that is). Although the public bar was pretty much empty most of the seats had coats/pullovers on them to 'bagsy' them for locals. No staff behind the bar so one of the customers deigned to serve me.
