Met some friends here on a Friday night and was pleased to find it wasn't as busy as expected. There were three ales on: Greede King Ruddles County, Wolf Granny Wouldn't Like and Cliff Quay Sea Dog. Good to see that two of the beers were from small local breweries. The Wolf was in good condition although a bit fruity for my liking (that was down to the beer rather than the way it was served though). Rod_Hariga - 15 Feb 2011 00:28 |

Come down and see us, under new management. A range of 6 ales to choose from including, Abbot 1.99, Pedigree 1.79, Ruddles 1.29 and rotated guest ales at 1.89 which include Woodfords and Nethergate and some of the local Micro brewers in the area. Went in around teatime.pleasantly surprised by the mellowness and behaviour of the natives. If this is the case later in the evening,i couldn't say! Usual great prices and wide range of beers. The usual 'wetherspoons wait' to get served.Wouldn't bother with the food, but who goes to wetherspoons to eat!!!???? Will go again. toolster - 18 Mar 2009 21:15 |
