Rodent infection has been a feature here - and convictions therefor. tradervic - 15 Jun 2020 07:42 |
We visited the White Horse late Sunday lunchtime - hungry grandson and two grandparents. We were given a warm welcome, seated at a comfortable table and although it is a local pub and not a restaurant were given table service. I am not very good with traditional 'pub grub' and usually have to choose least worst. Not the case at the White Horse. Their menu is interesting and varied with good veggie options. Grandson chose a childs Sunday Lunch with a portion size that I would struggle to finish! The Harveys Best was in excellent condition. This is a find and we will be back TonyB911 - 2 Sep 2013 22:34 |
It's a long time since I was here but pleased to read people are still generally happy. I had a fantastic dressed crab I seem to remember, which went well with the Harvey's. eddybeer - 1 Mar 2013 17:34 |
Harveys most westerly outpost.Cozy stone floored pub with a large central fire place.Having visted the horse a dozen or so times since last December I can report a well that the beer quality is top notch with a good choice from the Harveys stable.the bonfire boy,Old and Christmas ale being notable examples. devondrinker - 26 Jan 2013 10:32 |
Beer always in good condition, only visit irregularly but have never caught them on an off day. Can get a bit rammed on darts nights but shuffling around the cosy bar is not a problem and if tables not all taken in the dining area can find sanctuary there.
