Much better now than it has been in recent years. Full menu with simple, cheap food, although good quality nonetheless. Cheap on the prices, and spaced out enough that you don't feel particularly cramped. Good atmosphere. Despite that, probably still best avoided late Saturday nights. littlequill - 17 Sep 2014 19:16 |
This place has improved alot lately. It was always a decent pub looking for a decent bunch of customers & now the chavs have been moved on it's a great litle place to go again. smudgethewudge - 9 Mar 2012 19:58 |

called in for a meal the other Thursday, and although the food was really good, the karaoke host was a complete tosser he was arrogant, big headed, and I got the feeling he may have been mentally disturbed I wont be calling again!! MadBarbara - 22 Mar 2011 22:59 |
I agree with previous reviewers; lots of chavs. I have given this place a try a few times and not been impressed. It is a shame; this place could be a really nice pub in the centre of town, particularly as it is opposite the increasingly busy station. There are a couple of pubs catering to the younger (chavvy???) drinker in Uckfield, a decent pub, serving good drinks/food would do well. The staff have always been friendly but it will take more than that to make me go back. gelksy - 3 Feb 2009 12:34 |
