Thwaite's pub that is in a central location. The building is old. But, you would never guess it from the modern and characterless interior. Gold, Amber & IPA were the 3 real ales. It was quite busy with the post-match crowd. But, it soon thinned out. A disappointment. blue_scrumpy - 6 Oct 2019 11:39 |

Chav tastic! Burnley's very own Stone Island/Burberry stronghold, such a pity as the structure of the building is fantastic. The toilets are in the old police cells! Has apparently started selling real ale but never been available when I have dared enter. Real pity that such an iconic building in Burnley is such a poor pub. Snug - 6 Apr 2010 20:38 |
The Swan Hotel is a friendly little pub in the heart of Burnley Town Centre. It is one of the few remaining traditional style pubs left in Burnley and is a great place to sit and relax in the lounge area and watch the world go by. The beer garden out the back is a real sun trap and is an ideal place to while away a hazy summers afternoon. There is the pool room for those that wish to partake and the jukebox offers a huge selection of tunes to accompany your visit. We are always made to feel most welcome whenever we visit. lexi0706 - 19 Mar 2007 15:09 |
