| Fair sized pub with decent selection of beers. Plenty of screens for sport. Regulars are very friendly and good atmosphere post Fleetwood a Town matches when the cod army are in and in full voice. | Last time I was in with a group of mates on a Friday the atmosphere was horrible with violence in the air from the mostly young people who seem to frequent it. We only went in for the band that was playing. My friend, who is from Droitwich, asked the landlord if he had any mild on, to be told that,"No one drinks mild any more", (ie he can't be bothered and he can't sell it to the kids). I had to smile when my mate said, "That's funny 'cause I've just had three pints of Black Cat Mild in The Mount". The landlord who is not a small chap was a not amused..........Ho hum! | decent pub recently under new management. Has a sports theme, 3 big screen tvs. Not the cheapest but it not bad. serves Thwaites beer the original is ok but it is more of a lager drinkers pub. caverian - 4 Sep 2007 21:39 |
