| Fullers pub in Newbury town centre. It feels fairly comfortable inside and stretches back a fair way, with plenty of seating. | A busy pub on a Saturday lunchtime, it took an over-long time to be served a nice pint of the ever-reliable London Pride. Never mind, the barmaid smiled and apologised twice: that does make all the difference. Crowded and, for me, a bit too noisy inside, but it was really pleasant sitting in the open by the edge of the river in the afternoon sunshine.
