The nearest thing to my local. Always a good reception with the 'Tribute' being the ale of choice. Nice to get away from the blanket coverage of Hall and Woodhouse thetigersroar - 17 Aug 2013 16:14 |
open a year now under new ownership and management. really good ales, food and service. live music quiz nights and more. brilliant landlord and brilliant chef! visit chris and rob today! bigbaldrob - 20 Apr 2012 04:28 |
Great to see this pub open again, I visited last week where there was live music and a great crowd. The new landlord seems to have had a great affect on what was a tired and sorry little boozer. Long live The Pheonix affect! I'll for one be back! mrrowleybirkinqc - 23 Jun 2011 13:42 |
Now open again with a good clean interior and thankfully a freehouse serving a great choice of draught products with Doombar and Tribute as their current ales, both of which are excellant. Have been in a few times and the weekends are busy and there is a great atmosphere, sunday lunch was also very good. Great to see something new in Gillingham, my new local! Still empty and closed with the "To Let" displayed at even date. This high street has the smell of death about it. I would be pleasantly surprised if it is ever a pub business again. BeerEnthusiast - 8 Mar 2011 10:07 |
