Was on a narrowboat holiday, called in two nights running (July 15/16 2010), very friendly village pub, good food & good beer, very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Beer was Greene King's St Edmunds, Church End's Poachers Pocket & Old Speckled Hen. cabrothef - 24 Jul 2010 15:41 |

3rd November 2007 - Friendly village local. The real fires were very welcoming on a cold night. Whilst menu isn't extensive it is done well. Top quality steaks from local butcher with home made onion rings. The home made desserts are delicious and portions are large. Well kept beer, often with one guest from a local micro brewery. Good atmosphere, good food and a friendly welcome. tommytoper - 6 Nov 2007 07:53 |
Small, cosy, friendly village pub with a bar, small games room (skittles and darts) and small restaurant. Serves Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen. Food available to order, generous portions and very reasonable prices. Visited 3rd April 2007 stevemurray - 4 Apr 2007 23:05 |
