| The Wendover used to be a druggies' paradise but it cleaned up its act and is now a good pub. Probably not for long for the reasons of the smoking ban losing all the business. BTW I grew up round there and I can assure you it has been in Manchester since the war, when the council bought all the land round there from Cheshire to build the large council estate. Bingo_Accent is wrong, as the other astute people have pointed out. | oi bingo i live a stones throw away from the Wendy house as it's affectionately known by the locals and if you care to look at the post code M23 think that might give it away that it's in Manchester!
