Largish pub away from the town centre. Very expensive but then again they all are in Sidmouth. Did'nt see if it had a beer garden all round not too bad a place 7/10 montie49 - 29 Jul 2011 21:04 |
This is a lovely pub. The outside I think was recently refurbished and looks great (art deco/1930's signage in keeping with the building). The meal we had was tasty with good portions, and my other half was pleased with the choice of ales on offer. Friendly staff - all you'd expect from a pub and a great choice for our evening out. canter - 9 Mar 2011 15:52 |
Visited last night. First time in ages. Largeish room with a pool table/darts located at the back of the main room. Has a community feel about the place. Most of the other early ones seemed to know each other. Otter, Courage Best and Hopgoblin on hand pull Tried the later. And enjoyed it. Nice selection on the menu including a specials board. I had the Chicken and leak pie and Shandy Chica tried the Sea Bass. Well cooked and nice sized portions. Didn't stay for the quiz night but will definatly return soon. captaineric - 3 Nov 2010 16:40 |
A 'housing estate' pub in the suburbs of the town with a large garden and good food served in the evenings. Quite blokey and frequented by a good number of locals but nevertheless comfortable for the out-of-towner. Plenty of room and good service. SocietalHeretic - 31 Oct 2010 18:14 |
Appears to be a newish pub, refurbed earlier this year with new restaurant and bar area. Large garden with play area. Friendly welcome and OK beers but didn't try the food. BobOs - 9 Dec 2008 15:28 |
