After spending a few hours in the waterman arms all the locals and visitors head to the pier before 11. Music is loud and there was a fight with some of the loclas completely different to the watermans! party atmosphere!! anonymous - 25 Jun 2006 01:15 |
This used to be one of my favourite pubs. Good food. Decently priced beer. Friendly staff and locals. Can get a bit rugby-obsessed, but brill for a piss-up. cockneystu - 9 Mar 2004 13:53 |
Used to go here for quiz nights 4 or 5 years back when I knew people who lived around there. Watched a few England games during the 1998 world cup and the atmosphere was electric. You got the feeling the clientelle were capable of turning a bit ugly but that aside it a pretty decent pub. Good for: midweek piss ups thenationofjames - 28 Nov 2003 16:08 |
Great local boozer! Bar staff really friendly, food reasonable prices and big portions, good atmosphere when the footie/rugby is on and the cheesy Friday disco is always good for a laugh. Beer is cheap also! Catherine - 3 Sep 2003 13:12 |
