| Good atmosphere but very poor cask ale, doombar stale and tired and the devon coast even worse, had to leave and try one in the blue anchor which was superb. | Lovely welcoming pub with a great selection on the menu, very clean, tidy with friendly management and staff, very unusual for a pub these days Went to this pub over the bank holiday weekend, sat in the bay window overlooking the harbour for a pint or two with the intention of using a nearby Indian restaurant afterwards until we saw the pubs specials menu and decided to stay, opted for the beef vindaloo served with rice, chilled chutney and poppadum, best pub supper I�ve had in a long time, curry and a pint in a pub not an overpriced �curry house� on the Brixam harbour front, lovely! semorgan - 28 Aug 2012 07:56 |
| We visited this pub during the day out of season and it was very quiet. Can't say it was a bad experience like some of the comments say here. I imagine it is a totally different place on a saturday night though. 8/10 montie49 - 16 Nov 2011 18:29 |
