| Much improved since a recent refurbishment which has opened up the layout. On one side, the busy dining area has some comfortable furniture and offers good value meals. Round the other side of the bar, there is a huge screen for the football lovers. In between, there are few small tables for those looking for a quieter spot. The handpumps appear to be disused, with the Greene King IPA being dispensed through one of those fancy new fonts which supposedly offer beer in a 'Northern' or 'Southern' style. rpadam - 26 Feb 2010 21:01 |

| The non-smoking area was OK for us non-smokers and the food was absolutely great value as all dishes were under three pounds (fish & Chips, scampi& chips and ale pie with fab gravy & chips.)
