Sporting photos on the wall, beer was drinkable - okay for somewhere on the seafront I suppose. anonymous - 20 Jun 2014 23:23 |
Have been visiting sidmouth for years and always end up in the Marine in the evenings (and occasionally during the day). Very friendly bar staff run by John and his family. Great for chilling out and catching up with 'sport'. Weekends are lively and quiz nights are a laugh Deekay - 10 Apr 2013 13:21 |
Much bigger than i expected and if you can get a seat outside on a summers day it's great for watching the world go by. If you want to watch rugby or football then this is the pub for you. My pint of scrumpy jack was nice and chilled. 9/10 montie49 - 21 Feb 2012 09:04 |

I have just recently returned form a small break in Devon. I visited Sidmouth on a pre tour as I have heard of the sidmouth folk festival and I wanted to get the low down on the local pubs before my preposed visit to the festival this year (never been before). I read all the reviews on the pubs prior to my visit and I would like to add my humble opinion. The best pub in Sidmouth if you wanted to watch any sport. Friendly staff. Didn't have any food, but the beer was Ok. Rambler_uk - 8 Jun 2009 18:18 |
