Okay. Nice interior and plenty of opportunity to sit in the window watching the people pass by outside. BLACKTHORN.BRISTOL - 2 Sep 2012 15:03 |
Good pub with friendly locals and decent beer. Nancy you are a special lady and you always have time for a chat. I look forward to sitting on the window sill next time I come and having a natter and a fag. Thanks for making us so welcome on quiz-nite even though we got hammered by the resident professionals playing eight men in a team!! What some people will do to win a free pint. muzzyofrotherham - 14 Aug 2009 19:38 |
suprisingly good once you venture in, the music does get a bit loud though littlecon - 12 May 2009 14:12 |
Nancy's is a pub which really grows on you...there are two bars in the building, one upstairs which has a pool table and a big screen for live sports, its kinda aimed at students and other younger customers. The downstairs bar is more of a traditional bar for older customers. The prices are good value and there is always a selection of local and organic real ales. The pub has live music three times a week and the sunday afternoon sessions can get pretty lively! There is also a really good quiz on tuesday nights which is free to enter and never gets too serious! The thing I really like about this pub is that the locals and staff are real friendly and you always get great service. anonymous - 20 Jan 2006 22:19 |
