Plough, Alpertonback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
As the previous reviewer states, this pub is now an Irish pub called Tommy Flynn's. On a Tuesday night, the 4 or 5 customers and the barman were all Irish. I wasn't made to feel unwelcome. But the beer choice was poor. There are handpulls, but all are unclipped. Guinness was my choice and it was ok. Not a pub I'd go back to. But a typical Irish establishment.

Unless your not from the republic of ireland you are not very welcome extremely anti british will not consider employing british citizens totally grotty pub most probably no lisence to sell food so eat at you own peril,
Very sarcastic irish landlady rude, very few drinkable beers guiness would be your best bet, overall drinking and eating experience 2/10

Went into the Plough yesterday. It's still a dirty, horrible place run by what looked like Polish. Had a Stella which cost 2.90 which was relatively cheap, just an awful place to have a drink.

"grotty" is definitely the word. However, loved dropping in to this pub on the way to work (at the truly dismal F&G down the road) for a fortifying pint or two of Guinness. Also spent a bit of time chatting up local and aussie chicks while playing pool of an evening at the Plough, which bcame my local as was not allowed to drink at my place of work. The scot publican who was there when I used to drink there was a great bloke and great to talk to, but glenn, who I also met, was an absolute tossser.

I�ll agree with the previous comment about this being a grotty old Greene King pub, but with plenty of banter from the locals and the barman. As also said before, contrary to the facilities listed above, there are no real ales and there is a very limited selection of the usual bog standard lagers alongside Guinness.
The large room at the back of the pub has three pool tables and also doubles up as a function room available for hire. Sky Sports is shown and there are a few fruit machines dotted about.
The Polish flag hanging from the front of the pub along with the Polish written on the board outside suggests an Eastern European influence.
This is not a great pub, but it would be OK for watching the football.

grotty old pub. no real ales. Bit of a real ale desert in the area, I guess the Moon on the Water at Wembley High Street is the only option.
Good sized pool/snooker room.
Friendly locals.

fun little pub this one. i worked here for a bit in 2002. nessy was a legend, not sure if she's still there, maybe glen is 'the man'. glenn i do miss your stories mate. get in for the pool comp. and say g'day to the scotish and irish regulars for me
