A range of ales from the Backyard Brewery at the moment, very pleasant. A down to earth pub -- like others of its nature, "it's a pub. It sells beer." Not many people in on a Bank Holiday Monday but it was raining.

Chosen as a place to look out for, as I made my way into Solihull for the first time, as I create the brummiering. This place had nearly the highest score here - so needed to be checked out. Large, old school pub - geared up for the football. Had a quick pint of decent real ale (forget which) but it wasnt hobgoblin. This seems to be the favourite solihull tipple.

On a first visit I quite like this pub. There`s nothing outstanding about the place at all, large old fashioned building, basic decor, basic (well kept) beers at a reasonable price, no frills boozer. It`s a slightly guilty pleasure of a weekend though....so I`m told....mature clientelle having a right mash up to cheesy tunes...can`t be a bad thing..decent and worth a visit.

Extremely noisy on our Saturday evening visit, with a disco in full force. The Sadlers Arms is a nice building in the town centre. Although the beer range was a tad limited, with only Marstons Best Bitter & EPA & Wychwood Hobgoblin & Paddy's Stout available. I could imagine this would be a pleasant pub to drink in during the day. But on a Saturday evening, it was too busy and too noisy.

This pub has everythimg you'll ever need, from the quiet drink to the exciting nights. Fabulous food and reasonabley priced drinks (lets face it thats what we want). Got to say the best pub in solihull. Just amazing. Matthew

A boisterous, no frills pub with some decent Marston's ales on offer. Plenty of TV screens for sport, and some basic entertainment advertised. Unpretentious and has much in common with The Red Lion in Shirley and the Highwood near the Land Rover. Not much more to add really...

I like this place. Solihulls version of a flat cap pub. Great place to watch local sports and an excellent curry house across the way.

This pub is great, brilliant for the day and the night, go here all the time for lunch, and have been on the night, great for family in the day time and even better for a night out on the town, would recommend this place to anyone.

If you like jumping up and down with other 40 year olds singing at full blast the words to Teenage Kicks and other punk anthems along with the occasional Cliff Richard number you'll love it. Great crowd, reasonable priced beer for Solihull but remember to dress down!
