| Chosen as a place to look out for, as I made my way into Solihull for the first time, as I create the brummiering. This place had nearly the highest score here - so needed to be checked out. Large, old school pub - geared up for the football. Had a quick pint of decent real ale (forget which) but it wasnt hobgoblin. This seems to be the favourite solihull tipple. | On a first visit I quite like this pub. There`s nothing outstanding about the place at all, large old fashioned building, basic decor, basic (well kept) beers at a reasonable price, no frills boozer. It`s a slightly guilty pleasure of a weekend though....so I`m told....mature clientelle having a right mash up to cheesy tunes...can`t be a bad thing..decent and worth a visit. | Extremely noisy on our Saturday evening visit, with a disco in full force. The Sadlers Arms is a nice building in the town centre. Although the beer range was a tad limited, with only Marstons Best Bitter & EPA & Wychwood Hobgoblin & Paddy's Stout available. | This pub has everythimg you'll ever need, from the quiet drink to the exciting nights. Fabulous food and reasonabley priced drinks (lets face it thats what we want). Got to say the best pub in solihull. Just amazing. Matthew playthegame - 27 Aug 2010 19:33 |
