White Hart, Hertfordback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Slightly harsh reviews I think… Yes, it’s a typical town centre affair, but I found the two real ales (McMullens AK & IPA) kept well and perfectly adequate. I watched the Rugby World cup semi-final (New Zealand v South Africa) here on a Saturday afternoon with my family and found it a very friendly pub with a varied clientele and nice staff. The landlord informed us at the beginning that the TV would go on to the Arsenal game at kick-off, and we all moved seats with about 5 minutes to go… I would try it yourself and ignore some of the other comments. Pub is clean and food also looked okay.

All though a typical Mucky Mullens pub/ It was the only pub to serve a decent pint unlike their so called flagship hotel, where the barstaff could not speak clear english or pull a pint.
The lady on duty was extremely helpfull and was a credit to herself and the company

Gone are the days when you would be offered some charlie in the gents, but the refurb is awful with a mixture of leather sofas, high chairs and dining table which destroys any pub atmosphere.Gaming machines and rubbish musak played far too loud just makes matters worse and my Country Bitter was served too cold, with aggressive use of the chiller. This pub has zero character,no reason to stay for another poor beer.

This is a forgettable pub with the ubiquitous Hertford drinks range of McMullens Country and AK along with a basic draught selection. There are plasma screens throughout the pub and another in the large yard out the back that also houses table football.
The maid was friendly, but this alone is no reason for me to return.

Bland chav pub situated in the market area.. poor selection of ale.

This is one of about 4 pubs I've been to called The White Hart, no particular reason. Of all the pubs in Hertford, this wouldn't be one I'd go back there to visit or eat in. I used to work in Hertford, and it lacks decent pubs, and this one does the place no favours either. VERY rough of an evening, lots of 'just turned legal to drink' types who think they've seen it and done it, in other words, annoying!

Once was the "Blackbirds" of Hertford. Since rebranding in 2006ish they went upmarket, and have priced themselves out for most people. Almost always quiet, but has picked up recently. Quite expensive. Decent "beer garden". Best when they open the front of the pub up for drinking by the fountain in the market area.

Just been there for lunch -- they managed to over cook an all-day breakfast, and were very dismissive when this was brought to ther attention. Poor service & poor food. Avoid.
