What used to be wonderful local pub has been turned into a 'Darts are more important than customers' pub. The landlady dicourages dogs and yet parades her spoilt pooch around expecting all to fawn in front of it. I think the pub would benefit from a decent Landlord or landlady who actually cared about their customers and not treat it as a hobby or indeed think they are doing the customer a favour instead of the other way round. The smell from the toilets is quite over powering and considering is just outside the main eating area is quite off putting. Beer not bad but would have to say due to the negatives mentioned I really would not recomend it to anyone.

Used to be a top venue for bar billiards and hopefully one day they will stick a table in again.

Always head the the Rising Sun for a pint after work on a friday. Badger ales, so expect usual choice, Badger, Tangle Foot and seasonal offering. Has two bar areas, one for the quiter drinker, with open fire next to restaurant, the other for the darts players. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and have a great group of regulars proping up the bar. Would definitely recommend a pint and a sandwich here.

Nice cosy little country style pub without the annoying Sky Sports and loud music type punters. Worth a visit.

Reasonable boozer, with large car park and a little garden, separate eating area. Food was nothing special when I tried it a few months ago, but hopefully will have improved since. Bar staff are friendly and the locals are pleasant enough. Better than most pubs in Horsham...
