Called in while in Mansfield for the beer festival and enjoyed a Cropton Dangleberry. It is a large open plan pub, but seating on different levels break the open feel a bit.

A fine pub and friendly landlord (Neil) makes everyone (including this Yank) feel at home. I visit this pub everytime I travel to the Midlands and it's always got some fine real ales to enjoy. Food is good too- when in Mansfield, I highly recommend it!

Wow, some vocabulary mysisterhasapenis possesses ! Is that a 'local' characteristic to writing pub reviews ?

Abundantly clear that the previous poster has just signed up! Hardly constructive criticism, is it?

This is a pub I have always made a point of visiting when I come to Mansfield for the beer festival, or in the area for other reasons. It is too good to miss. Enjoyed my beer on this visit and we had excellent value food as well.

Big edge of town boozer selling 8 to 10 cask ales which make this place a buzzing and popular place to be.
