The Brown Cow Inn, Clitheroe

Stopped here on a visit to Lancashire and found it to be ok for a pint. Not much atmosphere and had the feel of a local's establishment. Not many ales on offer but were of decent condition.

The New Inn, Clitheroe

Just back from a visit to lancashire for the first time and was happy to find this pub. Excellent ales and well kept. The place has a cozy and comfortable feel to it. We chatted with others visiting the place and came away with the impression this is the best pub in town. I tried all four ales on at the time and each was equally fine.

If you find yourself in Clitheroe, this is the first place to stop for a pint. You will likely be there longer than you planned. I know I did, just wish I had more time to spend there.

The Coronet, Holloway

Stopped in last weekend for a quick pint after visiting the area for the day with family. We usually can find something decent in a JDW in the ales category but this wasn't one on the day. Settled for Deuchars IPA which was o.k. Decor is what you would expect from a place that was originally a theater that has a pub shoved into it.
