Now selling Wye Valley Butty Bach @ 1.50 a pint ! Manager a credit to his profession. Staff very friendly and helpful. We do not live in Hereford but on our next visit we will not hesitate to visit this establishment.

I reported this pub 5 years ago before we left the city. On our first night out since returning it hadn;t changed much - Still over priced and crap. The clientell used to be arseholes, from our visit it would be hard to say as at 9.30 on a Friday night there were only three people in besides us

Very expensive and there are hardly any offers, but the night time atmosphere makes up for it, It is a fantastic night time watering hole right near Dusk nightclub, so handy too.

Greatly improved over the last couple of years, not somewhere to go for a quiet evening drink though.Always seems to be more women in here than most other hereford pubs, prices a bit high but worth it.not a bad beer garden to escape the madness either.

This pub is one of the better ones in hereford. The only pub ive been in in town that ive walked out of sober at one in the morning (usually you need to get tanked up to have a good night in hereford pubs, but i was driving lol) The toilets are a pain in the arse tho (and the legs) due to all the stairs you have to go up. However, it has lots of screens, good beer and a generally good atmosphere. There was this one time though i was at the bar watching the darts and some 16 year old chavette screeched what you looking at, to which i replied i dont know, they dont label s**t. This is the sort of scum you have to deal with in hereford, beware.

I visited this pub a few times in the past week due to work. I found the beer and the food to be very good. The meals are on offer and the beer was very clean and crisp - well done to the cellar boy! Also the staff were very friendly and i will return for sure if a am working in the area again.

Very very sad to see you both go. I remember when you started there, the place was on it's arse. No-one went in and it looked an old and tired place. In no time at all you'd transformed it into surely the most successful bar in Hereford. All that without a penny of refurbishment/investment (bar the lcd and plasma screens) which most of the other Litten Trees which remain open today have enjoyed. As you say, you'd taken the place as far as it could possibly go as it is - why can't they see that any expansion would bring more profit? That's the only thing stopping the place being more successful because it already has the maximum it can hold week in, week out. I wish I could have worked for you forever but that can never be the case. I wish you both the very best of luck in your new move forward and I definitely will be staying in regular touch. I know you will greatly transform your next establishment. If I enjoy working for the new management when & if they arrive, 10% as much as I've enjoyed working for you it will still be worth it. All the best Paul & Beckie!

It is with great sadness that we leave the Litten Tree after our fourth christmas and New Year. Unfortunatly with the re-developement cancelled by the company and no further investment in the current building planned we cannot take the Litten Tree to the new heights that we had planned, So now its time to move on and make a difference somewhere else (Not a million miles away). We could have not built up the Litten Tree without the help of the top team that have worked for us over the past 4 years, DJ's Chris Roberts - Ian "Muffer Dog" Davies - Mad Marlon Pritchard - Matt "saviour of the Litten Tree" Healey - Ash Omalley - Silco - Dave Doubledex James - Robbie Symmonds - Andy JK Easton - Mike "Karaoke" Welsh - Aaron Mullen. Management Team Old & New. Sean Mullen - Phil The Chef - Claire Kitchen - Duncan & Joe Williams . All the staff old and current. And not forgetting the great landords (Darrell & Jules espescially)and ladies that made trading on Commercial Road great fun. Cheers to the door team for keeping everyone safe. and not forgetting all the customers for making the pub what it is today.... Have a great 2007 and keep supporting your local pub where ever you drink. Paul & Beckie

Not a bad pub. Great food during the day. Bit pricy for drinks but OK. DJ is great and plays a good mix to get you warmed up for the club. He doesn't have that cocky 'I'm great me' attitude that must DJs seem to have.

A realy good pub, excelent in everyway. I used to nearly live here, spending every penny i had in this pub. Well worth it tho. Plenty of totty to look at while you enjoy a pint, the only place ive actualy seen people que to get in, says it all realy. Decent pub grub, competing with wetherspoons in both price and quality. Theres something for everyone here, try for yourself. Drinks can be a tad pricey as Amy says, but worth it for the atmos. Good for pulling girls in on fri and sat, a playboys palace!!!

Love this pub, its definately the best pub in hereford, great as a pre club pub bouncers medium, bar staff quick and efficient however the drinks are quite pricey for little old country bumpkins like myself! Good music, yet dj on saturday is a little fond of the ladies, good looking but not worth it. Avoid at all costs!

Over-elaborate, Over done and over priced. A poor man's Bar Sport. This pub really has nothing to recommend it, although if you go at lunchtime you may see a group of moustachioed men who look like they may be SAS. Yes they are, except its the other SAS in Hereford, the Serious A***hole Service. Every town has them, its just in Hereford, they're stuck in the seventies.
