Absolute shite - The beer was cloudier than the mist over the Black mountains in November and the Bar maid said she thought it 'should be that way' - three bogs, all out of commission and the advce from the bar staff was "go to Manhattans and use theirs".

The Herdsman, Hereford

Been away for five years during which this pub has had a name change - unfortunately that is all that has changed. the decor is 1960s - the clientelle are as described below and all in all the pub is shite - a close second to the Long Bar in the shit pub scale!!

Cross Keys Inn, Withington

Cracking pub - a real hidden gem. Wye Valley and Three Tuns beer, Hereford cider (though it is fizzy) open fire and no fripperies. though you could spend hours in here people watching.
About the only criticism would be one of an 'outsider' - as with all hereford pubs, spontaneous conversation is anathema.
10/10 for the pub itself!!
