Swan, Enfordback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Rushed in just about 2.20 one weekday afternoon, the only other customers were a couple finishing their lunch. There were some 5 different ales on the handles which looked appetising - unfortunately I couldn't have one and was in a hurry so I had a coffee - excellent it was too, with a 2 cup cafetiere. The pub sign is now suspended over the road on the gantry once again, the pub interior is from a bygone age yet smart. Service was pleasant and helpful, I must go back to sample the ales andsd atmosphere some other time

Interesting old pub - usually has 2 guest ales alongside the excellent Heel Stone from Stonehenge. Wine is good and good value. Good Guinness. Could be more welcoming but the food is good pub food so generally recommended

A fantastic little pub that use to have the 'pub sign' suspended across the road!!! Usually has at least 3-4 real ales on with the usual offering from 'Bunce's' (not one of my favorites, but hey ho!! I had a Ringwood which was rather enjoyable. The only thing that lets this place down is that some of the locals (in the evening) can be slightly 'unfriendly' to say the least. Still the place is worth a visit.

Extremely pleasant village pub which was saved from closure by the locals. They bought the building about ten years ago, and it's run by a tenant. Most of the original share-holders have moved on or sold out, and the majority shre-holder now lives in London, but this hasn't affected the pub's character or service. The food is excellent value for money, but more importantly the beer is superb. Sadly no Stonehenge on while I was there but the first-class pint of Hobgoblin made up for that.
This pub is well worth going out of your way to find (it's just off the main road between Salisbury and Pewsey) if you're passing through and I would recommend making an effort even if you're not as this is one one the best pubs on Salisbury Plain.

Not so much out in the sticks as a bit further on from the sticks and turn left. I love this place though and wish it were closer to where I live. Friendly staff and local punters, great food, and well-kept beers that are regularly rotated in a traditional pub. Heard a rumour that somehow the village actually own it and they put managers in, not sure if this is true or not though. Thoroughly recommend this pub.

Classic, attractive, beamy, country pub on Avon Valley back road,. Owned by co-op of local residents for the past six years or so. Good food, range of drinks, and value with attentive, helpful staff.

An satisfying little pub off the Amesbury to Pewsey road, with an excellent menu and cheerful atmosphere. The rear garden is a splendid place to relax with a small childrens play area, low ceilings and doors. It's worth turning off the road for. A good selection of real ales
