Now converted to student accomodation. The ground floor for rent as retail - but has remained stubbornly empty for a very long time. A sad end to what was for many years the only decent pub in the area.

best avoided, too many druggies in the toilets,
Well it looks like Fullers decided to cash in on this one for an undisclosed sum - it seems set to become a hostel or hotel. I never had the pleasure of imbibing here and judging by most of the comments its just as well! Shame though as good thirties pubs are quite rare and this looks good from the outside. No doubt it had been gutted ages ago, but I bet it was a stunner when new. RIP
Looks shut passed by on bus.

I went to this pub before a Chelsea game and was shocked with what i saw. All of the Fullers signage had been removed which rather concerned me as i approached the pub and when i went inside there was no cask ale available, there were hand pumps hiddden in the corner but no ale. The only reference of any kind to this being a fullers pub was an old fullers mirror on the wall. We went in an hour or so before kick off and it was literally dead, not at all surprising really. A very horrible place, run down and surely is no longer a fullers pub. We left within one minute of arriving, never again.
To put it simply avoid like the plague!
pub is under new management so with a new decor and new ideas to have fun this pub will hopefully be an enjoyable place to have a drink there are mumblings that west indian food may be back on the menu soon ? watch this space

Had the misfortune to be in here for last year's UEFA cup final. When Chelsea lost, the local fans decided to take out their frustration on their local, and promptly beat lumps out of the pub, each other, and innocent bystanders.
Best avoided if you want to stay in one piece. That goes for the whole area, not just the pub.

it aint bad! Good fun and good beer!
We went there to see Lou as Elvis and he was great - lots of fun - this pub feels less like being in a pub and more like being a welcomed guest in someone's front living room. John the owner looks after you and full of smiles - really nice chap. It's a shame there's a massive center partition in the pub as it means the area available during a live performance is almost halved. And more thought to the layout of the seating would be nice as well as a bit of a stage for Lou to perform on so the people at the back can see him more easily. But overall a good night out.

WAS THERE LAST NIGHT THURSDAY, ELVIS WAS GREAT, HE HAD EVERYONE ONE UP SINGING AND DANCING, WELL DONE LOU JORDAN SEE YOU NEXT TIME YOUR THERE

Been using this pub for about 10 years, some ofthe comments below are rubbish but I will say the pub went down after Mick and Jan left. As for now, the new landlord is great, Dj. at weekend no kids in the evening, you never feel theatened, you can really relax and have a great time. The staff are all very friendly, ( And the girls are beautiful), all the sport you can want, great food, barby weekends (sometimes free) in fact, it is now a fantastic place to go. Add to all this the fact that the pub has been totally refurbed, not just a makeover like before, very clean, toilets best they've ever been. Brilliant!!! Definately reccomended!

Hi my name is John, I have just taken over the 7 Stars and thought Id update you on whats on now weve reopened. The pub is now split into two areas; a sky sports bar and relaxing lounge area . We will show all major sporting events such as Football, World Cup Rugby and Grand Prixs. We are introducing poker league nights, quiz nights and will have DJs on Fridays playing feel good and chill out tunes. Throughout the football season we will be sponsoring a childrens charity by raffling Chelsea tickets once a month with all the proceedings going to charity. Our range of products has improved such as San Miguel on draught and bottled Budvar to name but a few. We have also designed a new menu which we think will cater for all tastes such as our fresh doorstep sandwiches. We will have security working all weekend nights with the door policy being over 21s, no children, no pets and a smart dress code. An added bonus is our beer garden, ideal for you smokers and when the sun comes, BBQs. This is just a taster of what on but you should really come and see for yourself.

I think this place is great. Friendly regulars, great karaoke on weekends, and a good laugh. If you want wood floors and a poncey atmosphere, bugger off to All Bar One, cos this place isn't for you.

Is this the worst bar in West London?? Its debatable of course but the place is a shite hole. Full of the worst excesses of estate trash. Slappers and gobby yobs all looking for a scrap. The WORST karaoke I have ever been too. the beer is beyond disgusting. The toilets stink.Oh,and the prices of the beer are extortionate compared to some of the local 'over priced poncey bars'. Should be bulldozed along with the estate behind it!!
Its people with attitudes like yours that make me avoid these kind of places anyway. Dont worry I will never set foot in there.
look ya dont like pubs like this sod off the overpriced poncey bars .. im not a local but always had ok experiances in here when about
I stopped in here a couple of years back, walking home from work. Mid-week afternoon, about 4pm. I'm an Aussie bricky, so might not have looked like a local. No dramas getting a pint though. Only about 5 or 6 people in there. The only two girls in there made a bee line for me but when I declined to buy them both a drink they started screaming at each other. Five minutes later a fight broke out. Still, wasn't really bad. Only after I'd finished my beer and was going to use the toilet before heading home, as I approached the gents a bloke sitting next to the door said, but without looking up at me, "Don't go in there, turn around, don't go in there!" Still to this day haven't got a clue what might have been going on. Maybe he saved me from a hiding. Entertaining in hindsight.

Yeah, I live local too and whilst the term 'chav' goes hand-in-hand with most pubs near an estate, I only ever go in here as a last resort. However, if you dont mind a few stares and hearing a bit of 'french' then you could do worse.
ok fair enough, i just don't understand how an entire estate can be "chav", that's all.
Listen I am a working class guy myself. My definition of a chav is what I have found in here. This is a true story -
I went in there about a year ago in a suit to be told to f### off we dont serve people in suits.
Just because I am in a suit does not mean I am not working class ffs.
My previous visit was met with loud aggressive people who all looked like they were itching for a fight including the young landlord who I believe shares the same name as me. Read the reviews below. If you are not local you are not welcome in there.
I admit my comment is harsh and I apologise. I have just had 2 very bad visits there and the second time was worried for my wellbeing just because I was in a suit.

A fine, pretty large 1930's pub with lots of original wood panelling, giving it a clubby/parlour sort of atmosphere - challenged only by the decks and the disco lights. This place sets out to look after, entertain and perhaps even stimulate the local inhabitants. There's a "DJ" on Friday, Karaoke on Sundays and on Wednesdays there's chess! The beer is Fuller's finest and the service is fast and friendly. If any of the entertainment on offer is your pint of ESB, then you'll be happy.
Tomi - what do you mean by chav? You described an entire estate as being "chav". So in other words your definition of "chav" is basically "working class". You absolute scumbag.
anonymous - 20 Jun 2006 14:03 |
The locals are the problem though. The pub is the local of the massive chav estate right behind it and nobody else is allowed in unless they are known.
cant believe ammount of snobs slating boozers like this, staff seem fine to me good larf when dj on , and still got original locals rather than some of the jumped up new age bars down road
An absolute shite-hole.Quite possibly the worst bar in West Kensington.Barman got my order wrong & immediately blamed me.The fact that he was talking to some cheap estate slapper whilst he was supposed to be taking my order seemed to have completely passed him by. When the beer finally arrived,it tasted how I imagine the contents of the pubs disgusting toilets would taste.Add to that a threatening atmosphere, the worst karaoke you could ever imagine and drunken old tarts and chavs staggering around all over the place and you have a classic 0/10 boozer.Avoid at ALL costs.
A hell hole of a pub, full of aggresive chav types & loud drunks. The karaoke is spoiled by the pervading atmosphere of louts looking for trouble, which is a shame. The layout of the pub suggests that with a make over something quite decent could grow from it if anyone could be bothered.
I only live round the corner and went in there quite late one evening in the week to get a quick pint only to be told 'we dont serve people in suits!' Nil points. Dont even bother.

A good friendly atmosphere and a great pint of guinness .On a recent visit from up north had a cracking time with the southerners What north/south divide , The Seven Stars bridges the gap for me

This is a reasonable local pub, roughly the size of the Old Oak and the Elm (which are on the other side of the road) combined. Has Karaoke and Fullers ESB (what a combination).
