The Seven Stars, West Kensington

I stopped in here a couple of years back, walking home from work. Mid-week afternoon, about 4pm. I'm an Aussie bricky, so might not have looked like a local. No dramas getting a pint though. Only about 5 or 6 people in there. The only two girls in there made a bee line for me but when I declined to buy them both a drink they started screaming at each other. Five minutes later a fight broke out. Still, wasn't really bad. Only after I'd finished my beer and was going to use the toilet before heading home, as I approached the gents a bloke sitting next to the door said, but without looking up at me, "Don't go in there, turn around, don't go in there!" Still to this day haven't got a clue what might have been going on. Maybe he saved me from a hiding. Entertaining in hindsight.
