My first visit foe a number of years. Not a bad pub-well kept Doombar, but a bit cold for my liking. Food only average (6/10) and no atmosphere in restaurant mid-week. Staff not particularly friendly ,bar a bit cliquey as mentioned in a previuos post and completely empty by 10.00 pm

Attractive pub on the edge of woodland, we visited last Saturday afternoon but it was difficult to really judge the place as they were busy hosting a wedding party.
There is an attractively decorated bar at the front, leading on the left to a dining area, and a large conservatory leading to a lovely garden. We sat in the garden in front of the pub which has nice pots of shrubs breaking up the gravel covered ground. What would have been a nice restful ambience was somewhat spoilt by traffic hacking past on the road in front of the pub.
The ale range was the usual slightly uninspiring line up: Courage Best, London Pride and Sharps Doombar; having said that, the Doombar was really tasty and the service was pleasant.

Snobby place. Ridiculously overpriced thanks to the affluent, but shallow, locals. It's not a pub, it's a meeting place for the local clique.
Avoid it like the plague.

friendly and helpful staff, went out of there way to check the racing results last week - thanks. Great beer.

The is a classy pub with good food (although the restaurant is a bit pricey) good ales, mainly frequented by the well shod locals. Popular with the golfing set. Log fire, flagstone floors and dog friendly. Gets very busy early doors.

A lovely pub, has a classy feel, but friendly and easy going. Good decor, fantastic food and great garden, and excellent location.

Classy pub with great bar food and beers. Reasonably priced wine list, although restaurant is not cheap.

Fab little garden for country evening. Nice posh restaurant and yummy pub grub. Charming!

Traditional pub set in the country side. Seperate restaurant which doesn't affect the bar side of the pub. No quiz machines. No Music. Dogs welcome. Large Garden. Excellant beer. Great food, both in the restaurant and bar snacks
