Excellent beer and staff. Glad to see it open after the floods. Best pub in hebden bridge by far

No loss although I feel sorry for the tenants, and unfortunately the clientele are now dispersed where it did serve the purpose of keeping them all in one place.

Closed. A victim of the summer floods in Hebden Bridge. There are hopes is may reopen before too long.

A good place to chill after a long hike. Decent ber and cozy, only slightly spolit with old crusties discussing their drug years......

Visited on a midweek lunchtime. Excellent pint of black sheep. Good pub in a lovely area.

Multi roomer. Genuine tap room with bench seating. Real fire. Castle Rock Harvest Pale was in good condition, I think they now have added this on permanently. enjoy the craic.

rough and ready spit and sawdust not for the faint hearted or tourists. good ale

good lord. some people wouldn't know a decent pub if it bit them on the arse. it's a proper pub. no irish themed nonsense, a proper pub, serving proper beer, to proper people. if your idea of a good pub is friendly locals, good beer, juke box, darts, etc then i suggest you get yourself in here if you're in hebden. we thought it was fantastic.

Oh come on now Ray! You're right but you're missing the point. The Railway's fab to sit outside in summer, it's a great venue for a very rushed pre-cinema drink - run cross the road and drink your pop in the marina if the pub bothers you. If you're having a bad day and just want to escape to the down to earth, it' not a bad choice.

oh dear! the bar maid had trouble with the concept of a non alcoholic drink, the carpet was like freshly laid tarmac- black and sticky, and i was offered a greyhound to buy within 5 min of entry by a man who looked exactly like neil from "the young ones". did not dare go near the toilets!!
