Pub was named "Silver Bullet" for last 6 appx years, closed June 2016, reopened October 2016 as ‘Zelman Drinks’.

Well, it's still here and has a calendar of events for some nights, Tuesday looked like a group swing dance tutorial to recorded music then live modern Jazz, house band followed by jam. Good variety in performers.
Located on the bus pull-in by the Tube station, sepulchral gloomy black painted interior probably repels many. Strange interior configuration with island music console is awkward, just painting it all in a brighter colour would probably attract more although it looked pretty well patronised when visited.
Detected a lager/Guinness type emphasis but they have Speckled Hen and another more exotic beer in bottle, San Miguel on draft and quite a good red wine.
Friendly efficient service, not cheap prices given the grotty decoration and location, but some sort of entertaintment is usually provided.

now closed and due for demolition as part of redevelopment of whole block. currently being run as a 'pop-up' music venue under the pub's original name ('The Silver Bullet')
Only open on match days now. Another pub that Enterprise Inns have screwed up.
Does exactly what you'd expect of a pub next to a bus/rail/underground interchange ie. in a scruffyish environment knocks out standard lager, keg Smith's and Guinness in large volumes to those passing through. Sadly, despite the friendly service, I'll probably stick to the Twelve Pins when in the area, as the Guinness is 30p more expensive and not particularly good in the Gaslight.

needs a clean up , staff have always been friendly. only on game day is it realyy worth it.

I popped in here at about 22:30 on Saturday night and the place was pretty empty except for a couple of forlorn looking men sitting by the window and small group of pissed up Arsenal fans playing pool and darts and chanting at Match of the Day on the TV.
Only a basic selection of draught is available and the head on my Guinness was huge. I didnt bother mentioning it to the barmaid as she looked like she had enough on her plate.
This place is an absolute toilet and I can see no point in drinking here unless your going to the Emirates and are extremely unadventurous and go in the first pub you see when you exit the station.
you cant miss it, right across the road from the station, but er.... its a pit stop for the twelve pins, save yourself the bother and walk the extra hundred yards.... but a mile ahead of the blackstock!! 8-) (wouldnt be hard)
Straight across from the station, this is one of the worst pubs I've ever been in. The carpet is worn out, the seats are ripped & broken and the glasses are dirty. Complete gutting by fire would be a blessing.
People are too fast to criticise this pub. Ok it's not a plush, trendy yuppy-filled establishment, but the staff are very friendly (one of the barmaids is CUTE), its right opposite the station, and it's great to meet people, because its quite small. I moved to Finsbury Park a few weeks ago became a regular immediately
The best pub I have ever, ever been into. I often go here on a Friday night and then on to Rowan's bowl.
total dive, the message below is clearly from the manager - don't go in here
A great place to go for a lively drink, all the staff are friendly young folk. Always a good game of pool or chess on the go. The new manager has a brilliant attitude and always happy to challange a game on the pool table.
Has to be the worst pub i've ever been in. Girls toilets obviously hadn't been cleaned in months. Tables were shabby, decor....terrible. Avoid if possible.
God-awful, character-less place selling overpriced, warm beer. There always seem to be more people dossing behind the bar than actual paying punters. Avoid and go to the Twelve pins instead. Unless you like feeling like a corpse.
Nothing more than a boozer for Arsenal match days - nothing else to redeem it.

Community Station pub recently refurbished. Opposite Finsbury Park Station.
