Moodys, Wakefieldback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Moody's has now re opened as a pub after the Tree House debacle and standing empty for some time . The new management are doing a good job, the pub is lively, friendly and there are always three or four cask ales on, always in good condition , they do food from a limited but sensible menu ,bar snacks and are open for breakfast . They also have SKY sports , a decent place .

Now "The Treehouse". Lots of wood!. Gone up market and got a younger, trendier clientel. Bit pricey for Wakefield but worth a visit. Does food but not my type of menu.

An old pub going to waste needs extensive restoration ,this place could be a real pub again ,the lavatories stink to high heaven ,the whole place has an atmosphere of decay

Not a bad pub, okay for one after work.

I remember when this was a Pizza Hut, but it has been a pub/bar for many years now. There are better places within a couple of minutes walk, so you would be wise not to bother with Moody's.

The type of pub you go in when you are on a works pub crawl just because the whole group goes in as it sounds lively, which is why I went in. Boring formula house music blasting out and the usual keg and bottle products available. Corona was about 2.90. No redeeming features from any other non descript town bar.
