As a Regular visitor to Folkestone, i always chose to stay in the Black Bull Hotel. Not only are the rooms fairly priced, clean and comfortable, i find the manager and his wife very friendly extremely helpful, the pub itself is beautifully decorated, and the facilities and food are lovely, making every visit to folkestone a different experience,on one occassion, the pub was holding a charity event, which was great fun and had everyone involved,i would recommend anyone visiting folstone to give this pub a try, you wont regret it,

paula is obviously friends with carl and they have prob been refused service for some reason or other apart from that, the manager is a woman who is very polite and treats people the same way she likes to be treated so i cant see her being rude to anyone for no apparent reason.

i dont know where carl got his information, but it must have been a different venue he visited because i got there on a weekly basis and have found the staff friendly and very helpful and i have also found it to be a very nice clean atmosphere with a good bunch of regular customers.
