Sunday lunchtime at Easter. Never been in before. Very unwelcoming. T V on showing football which attracted precisely 3 viewers. The pub had good seating and leather chairs and we could have stayed for Sunday lunch but had no interest in the football on large TV over what would have been an attractive fireplace if lit. They have completely missed a chance to attract new customers. Easter Sunday they could have sold a lot of food as there were cyclers and walkers in large numbers passing through the village. If it was Saturday at 3 & a large crowd was cheering on the football it may have created an atmosphere but Sunday at 12.30 was not the time for the football crowd. The decor was good Loos clean and well decorated. If they ditched the TV and slot machine, made an effort to be welcoming to new customers the could have a great pub.

Awesome village local.

Agree with sonofalbert - I wonder if Tweedledum and Tweedledee from next door have been up to their tricks again? They're village idiots and intolerable snobs to boot

A group of us cycled to Bramley from Horsham and picked The Wheatsheaf at random. Beer fine, food very good value although nothing out of the ordinary. Thought some earlier comments a bit hostile and unnecessary

Looked closed at lunch time today.
Heard of a pub with no beer, but this one had no staff - hung around for a few minutes, then walked out!
First impressions made me keep my money in me pocket.

please please never stay here accomodation is vile -our floor was soaking wet, the room stank and the windows were open to try and rid the smell. Pub still open at 3am when we returned from a party and they couldnt even be bothered to get up to provide the cooked breakfast we booked for 930am on the Sunday morning- Maybe that was a blessing in discuise with hindsight. A generator kept our friends awake on the ajoining room and access to the rooms is via a sideway piled high with rubble & an old mattress!!

Used to be a great village pub - seems a little frayed around the edges now but still full of locals

We walked in and then we walked out, not for us this pub. We have no rating for this pub.

What a dump, dirty smelly overpriced flea pit. Just don't. Go to the jolly farmers down the road, much nicer AND CHEAPER

Have to agree with Biker's comment if referring to the Guinness. Seems like a bit of a sports fans' pub at weekends. Good to place to stop off at on a walk

Good clean accommodation with a superb breakfast. A truly original local village pub that is full of character and characters. Good food but menu only basic although there was a good choice of specials on offer. Spent an enjoyable night with the locals with only conversation, banter and alcohol as entertainment. IE No loud music or TV blasting away. Will return next time I am in the area.
