Upmarket pub that has always had a Leicester Tigers connection. Always busy, but rightly so... Big garden and Petanque courts outside, Samuel Smiths old brewery ale on offer last time I visited, plus others... Nice patio with aviary. If you are driving you often have to park on the road.

Gets crowded but the beer's good, full of character.

Is looking a bit tired inside. Could do with a lick of paint and an unsticky carpet!

an excellent country pub; just the job for a glass of Bass on a Friday night - gets my wholehearted endorsement.

A veritable gem of a juicer. Low beams, open fires, no music, TV's for sport only, superb ale well kept and full to the roof most weekends as well as some weekdays. Loads of local sporting connections and memorabilia should you get bored talking to your mates/wife/paper etc.
