Had a pint of London Pride and enjoyed a half hour taking in the pleasures of this long bar with its tastefully unmatching furniture, interesting wall art and excellent soundtrack. Good mix of young arty types, office wallahs and bookreaders. Didn't eat but the menu looked varied and imaginative. Full marks to the friendly, cheerful and politestaff.

I often pop in here straight after work for a pint of milk and a sausage sandwich. Not cheap at 7 but probably the best sausage sandwich in the world.

The sister pub in Nottingham of the same name is even better. Pretty hard to find though.

This place is a surprise. I'd always assumed it was the same as all the other pubs on Leicester's High Street but it has some real character. Good cheap food, a lot of friendly, young bar staff [Each time I was at the bar I was asked at least three times if I was waiting, which is a pleasant change] and a good atmosphere to it. It's a younger person's place, but not exclusively so - an old git like me was still nmade to feel welcome. A few more real ales would improve the score - only had two on at time of visit.

What a fantastic pub, great atmosphere, friendly knowlegable staff, good choice of drinks, yummy food, and a huge beer garden, by far the best beer garden in the city - what more could one ask for! (maybe warmer weather all year round)

Good atmosphere. Great building and good clientele. Not too pricey for a city pub. Unfortunately the barstaff are not up to scratch. Unable to make a good cocktail and rude to boot. If they replaced the staff, this pub could be good.

An oasis of sanity and decent music on the High St of despair. Good food at reasonable prices, drinks on the pricey side - but do serve a decent pint of ale.

Decent place for a last drink before closing, has a couple of ales on (Bass and Marstons tasted fine) and gets very full, mainly yougsters on en route to the city's clubs. Has a big beer garden out the back.

An 8 rather than a 9 because it's pricey for the Midlands. Very nice atmosphere, quick service from friendly and knowledgable bar staff. Very good for a date...it worked for me :)

Usually excellent food, good for a nice hearty lunch. Usually driving so have never sampled the beer selection but if it's like the Loughborough one then there should be one beer worth drinking.

Abolutely top pub! Great atmosphere and really friendly and helpful bar staff...well, when they are not trying to be amateur DJ's! Even the bouncers are friendly! Unless your a p**shead from the pubs next door. Pub for all the ageing Indy kids. Had a great Sci-Fi themed New Year there which was topped off by two guys dressed as an AT-AT!!!

This is the pub to go to if your a roaming muso type with too much money. The food is great and the atmosphere is amazing. Great for and after work night and the party nights have to be experienced to be belived. They also serve great cocktails
