Although repainted, this pub interior appears to have been unaltered since the 50s/60s - the bar stool upholstery is fading. More of a boozer than anything else with 3 real ales available, my Ringwood was OK. Although they serve food from a reasonable menu, my soup seemed to have come from a Heinz can.

Bit of an undiscovered gem. I've lived in the Fareham/Gosport area all my life but due to it's location (under a viaduct by a motorway junction) never got round to this one b4.
Was in there at 4pm on a weekday - still fairly busy for a small locals boozer. Landlord very friendly, locals OK. Only drank Becks so can't comment on the beer.

This place was once my local, but a few landlords later and it has crashed. Thermo-nuclear bright lighting and a dusky pink ceiling. The Landlord is a nice chap, but I think eats wasps for breakfast as he always looks p*ssed off. Beer has improved and is now quite paletable, but way too expensive. Saturday a few weeks back myself and 3 friends had the lounge bar to ourselves - this is not a good sign.

Good fire in the lounge bar, but changed hands a few times in the last 5 years and gone down hill each time. Not the Xmas eve haunt now cos it is just too pink inside, it is like taking part in some wierd birthing ceromony. Also not as cheap as it should be given it is a crud location.
high mark though cos I used to got there a lot and it has served me well in a few times of need.

Quiet locals pub, we head there every Christmas Eve and irritate the regulars with our reminiscing.
Real ale, and a fire.
