Yes, now the Duck inn 🦆... Geared for food, but friendly staff and a good pint of Elgoods Cambridge bitter.. Also Adnams Ghost ship... I know this area is minted (get the pun), but lamb Sunday roast was 30 quid!!!!! I had a couple of pints and a bag of nuts...

Now known as the Duck Inn, this has been a family-run business since 2013. I enjoyed a couple of good pints of Elgood's Cambridge Bitter with my equally good chilli lamb and chickpea flatbread on Friday lunchtime. Seemed like a more upmarket establishment than other pubs nearby.

The publican / owner is rude and has no concept of customer service. Avoid this pub at all costs.

I might be biassed, well we regularly park our caravan in the field. As always Page is a most convivial host. Havent been for nearly a year due to illness but a quick phone call and as ever Page said Certainly old boy, Glad to see you..

I visited England a couple of month's ago & dropped in on Page. Still the same, everyone (most!, I'll explain shortly) welcome and the Pub full of happy eaters. The brackets - Cell phones swim in a pint tankard on the bar, so beware AND "Gentleman Farmers", to use the term loosely, are NOT welcome if they think it amusing to continually pass wind (I believe Page's description was "Bloody fart") whilst sitting at the bar. Those regulars who were discussing this "Man" were totally in agreement that a Pub, such as the Crown, was above his level of decency and that he should both apologise & desist from such a filthy habit. Boy you talk about rallying round the Landlord! Apart from that enlightening talk the other bone of contention will probably be smoking, or not!! Anyway if anyone does visit this very convivial host & enjoy the remarkable food - give him my regards from Canada

I have known the Landlord for over forty years and his appearance has never changed !! One of the most charming hosts one could meet. The food is widely known as "Excellent" & I hope to sample it in a couple of months on my next visit to England

Excellent Pub, food is superb, Landlord friendly and charming and contrary to Pete's comments does not always look drunk!

Cosy and friendly Elgoods local, popular for short choice of good value home cooking inc excellent game (food may stop early on quiet evenings), well kept Elgoods Cambridge, decent wine and coffee, convivial ex-RAF landlord (who always looks drunk!), small bright traditional bar with interesting nooks and corners, central log fire, one beam studded with hundreds of coins; tables on side lawn, lots of fancy fowl (and chicks) outside; caravan site, self-catering cottage available
