Repriced pints are cheap, especially at happy hour. Seems a bit 'local' but generally friendly and good beers. When matches are on its packed and the bars is in the way. A good pub. Need to sort out the seats in the middle of the floor though!

Terrible pub, hostile atmosphere - barman (possibly owner) came out and told us off like children for not drinking quickly enough during a United match. Humiliating experience, and ruined the match.
I used to watch matches at The Vine with a large group. But I won't be doing so any more - very disappointed.
If you want to drink and enjoy matches in a pub with a friendly atmosphere AVOID this place. The Little B is much better.

Good proper pub with pool Jukebox & Darts. Ok now the idiot wierdo barman has departed still smokey for now, god knows what it will be like when the Ban arrives.

Ok for a quick couple of pints. Food not great and can ge a bit smokey when a match is on.

can't understand why this place is only a 5. one of the best pubs in the sale area, locals friendly and so are some of the peasants. bar staff are just greeeaaat, beers fantastic and the atmosphere for football and rugby matches is second to none. 10 for me all the way, keep it going robbii !!!!!!!!

only been in there once, when I'd had a few.
I like it because it doesn't pretend to be anything... better atmosphere than a lot of places in Sale.

Went in here for a bite to eat and a couple of pints. Bar maid told me I would have to wait 45 minutes for food. When it eventually arrived it wasn't bad for the price (there was no mustard or mayo - bring your own). Beer was pretty decent - not too expensive. Regulars seemed friendly enough. Not my ideal place to go for a night out but not the worst in Sale by far. Would have scored higher if we hadn't had to wait so long for the food.

This used to be a great pub but has now sadly gone downhill a bit. A hardcore of regulars still frequent it. If I go in, I usually have the misfortune to bump into a former friend of mine who is now a complete embarrassment to all and sundry.
