Would echo the previous comment - staff were friendly and helpful and pride was fine.

It would appear that the comments below are out of date. I was pleasantly surprised by the very friendly staff that welcomed my friends and I when we went in to watch the football on Sky. The menu has some of the best burgers around and are very reasonably priced and very filling! I'll be back for sure, it's a large pub with a great atmosphere and welcoming environment.

Despite claiming to have got an award for its beer this pub has not got the consistency of either the crown & sceptre or the radnor. Even their cider tastes like it has not been cleaned in months. No pride in their pride!!

No, it's awful! The beer is overpriced and badly kept and its like drinking in a departure lounge.
There are lots of much better pubs nearby suh as the Crown and Sceptre.
The wrong place full of the wrong crowd with the wrong beer at the wrong price. (Food was ok mind.)

This pub is fantastic the Managers Sarah & Liz along with all the staff are very polite. The food is very good with the 2 for 1 offer still available on Monday's and a super Sunday Roast. They still have a Pool Table available with the occasional Live Music night. If you have not been to this pub in the last 12 months it is now well worth a visit to see the changes. The customers are very cosmopolitan with visitors from various parts of the world. If you fancy a night out with a few friends in a cosy atmosphere and good background music so you can still talk to each other. Give the Kensington Tavern a try, You will not be disappointed!!

I reserve the right to change my mind, but I have been here three times in the last couple of months and not found much wrong with the place. It hasn't been reviewed for a while, so maybe it's changed management... But whenever I have been in the staff have greeted me - note this is unusual in many London pubs where "the surlier the better" seems to be the rule - and served a decent pint. The food deal on Monday (2 for 1) was pretty good and the food well within the "good" range. The music was not turned up to blasting, and these were all "weekday" evenings, so perhaps the fighting is reserved for the weekend? In any case, this will soon be my local, so if I change my mind, I'll let you know.

been to this so called pub twice ( twice too many) dodgy pipes, dodgy pool tables and dodgy punters. Live entertainment good though, best pub fight i've seen for quite some time. Recommend avoidance

Absolutely awful. Like an airport departure lounge crossed with a youth club. Beer is Deuchars, but badly kept. Play the same "piped music" of Aztec Camera et al from 1987 continuously. Wish they would turn the place into a pub again. It's hurrendous.

Best pub in the area has a very trendy feel it. The staff are all good fun and the general theme is fun fun fun. Menu changed recently very good Sunday lunch 10/10. A good place to relax with a few friends or get totally wasted. Great pub everyone should have one close by.

Was a big fan of this pub but am starting to get bored. The landlord Darren is a great bloke and half the reason we still go, but its hard to work out where the pub is going. As a food pub its ok, but the food is good but not outstanding and the menu never changes. Its got a screen and some pool tables and tries being a sports bar but doesn't really follow through. It isn't really a beer bar either with a limited range and its cocktails are limited. Its too noisy to be a chatting pub, but the layout prevents it being a music pub. The pub has potential, but needs to pick a theme and go with it rather than trying to be all things to all people.

This is a very unusual large bar with sky sports and good food.

A great discovery with an upmarket local feel to it. Has american pool tables plus big screen for sports. Menu is good and varied with plenty of pub grub dishes as well as gastro style dishes. Has an interesting beer called Kronenbourg Blanc which is not at all common. Great place for meeting friends as well as watching sports. Weekly promotions include 2 for 1 meals on Mondays from 6pm and 2 for 1 cocktails on a Thursday night. Sunday rast was good washed down with a few beers.
