Re the chavs comment, one of the positive things about this pub is that it attracts all sorts, and it is a very pleasant, respectable atmosphere for all. Just like a local should be.
The best thing about this pub is undoubtedly the food...huge portions, good menu, piping hot, proper, wholesome food. That's not to say the beer isn't good, it is...if perhaps a little limited. However I'd rather eat there than at almost any restaurant in Rugby.

An interesting local but seemed to be full of chavs!!! Had sunday lunch which was very good but the atmoshpere was bordering on Eastenders. Probably worth avoiding.!!!!!!

Pretty good local, good atmosphere.

This has always been my local pub but never felt I could go in there until it was taken over by the current owners 5 years ago. Great pub, very friendly, warm and welcoming. The food is delicious, fresh, homemade and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Great pub great food, new land lords have turned this place around lovely fresh food and good selection of real ales on offer. definately worth a visit ! Staff are very friendly !

Absolutly love this pub for Sunday Lunch - Meat fresh, veg fresh, good portions and presented well. I take my young family every week if possible to enjoy a home cooked well priced lovely dinner. There are other carverys and hotels in the area but we still prefer this warmly ran 'local'.
My only gripe is that sometimes the wait on food can be a little long even when its quite but I am happy to wait for such good service - love their vegetables so much we always order too much!

very unfriendly unless your a local

Fair place for a friendly pint. Lost a lot of character over the years though.

A large 50's style large corner boozer. The beer choice is poor with no real passion. The food id fair and reasonable. Pub games are regularly played.

A very nice pool table. Decent juke box. Not the most lively place though.
