Excellent pub to view the World Cup!!! atmosphere is great during the games and staff are friendly and well equipped for the busy time periods.

Agreed think this place was going downhill epecially as the Dog track has gone this pub was going to the dogs! ( sorry) However, this pub is fighting back with a simple menu, disco for the over something's and a general tidy up. Giving it a 7 however need to visit again in near future.

This place has improved no end over the past couple of years. It has been done up inside and the toilets are now OK too! The staff are friendly enough but I've never been in when they've had entertainment. On he nights I've been there it has been very quiet with not too much atmosphere.

Big Screen for Sky Sports & friendly staff mite be worth another look (was in there one weekend when there was a 'beach party' taking place!!!)

This pub is so expensive for where it is. 2.90 for a jack daniels....hmm. thats good if it were a nice quiet pub but it's not. Iv'e been about 5 times. The customers are always friendly but most keep to themself. It's not worth making a night of it though.

Popped in on Saturday afternoon; only a handful of punters, mostly watching Arsenal mullering Spurs, and including one unpleasant racist oaf who seemed determined to pick a fight with someone (the sort who could start a ruck in an empty room). I drank up & left. Pub has "Lease for sale" sign up, so who knows what the future may hold. Hope it's better than at present.

Its an ok pub, got 2 pool tables and fosters cost 2.50 so it aint too pricey. It also has a juke box type thing so u can choose the music but it aint the most lively place so if ur lookin for a lively pub go sum where else...

Limited selection of beers. No real ale. Far more interesting pubs to visit in Walthamstow such as The Plough, Rose & Crown, The Village etc. Wouldn't go out of your way to drink here.

A great local, friendly staff and friendly locals. Jukebox, pool tables, quiz machine and football on TV. Who could ask for more??? Even the karaoke on thursday nights is good!!

The Dog & Duck,
Dated building, decorated by the blind. Populated by thoroughly nice fellows, mostly tradespeople. The jewel in this pubs crown is its staff. Although young, they are experienced and friendly.
Great pub if your looking for a local in this area and you dont want to be exposed to the Chingford "antilectuals" or the Walthamstow "GANGSTA playgroups". They also do a very fine pint of guiness.

An excellent family pub. Small garden out the back, can occasionally get busy. A good pub to start off a good night.
