Good little pub, sat in the little beer garden with the dog and ate lunch, food good. Pleasant visit.

A great pub with that is always accompanied with a warm welcomed by staff. After a mountain bike ride in the nearby MOD land this is a good place for a stop off for a cold beer and a bite to eat.

Came her for Fathers' Day this year for lunch with my family and some friends too - was very impressed with the food and also London Pride was on form. The restaurant was packed but we'd already decided to sit outside as the weather was fine.

Good traditional pub with Horse Racing theme. Generally nice and Quiet, no noisy families (they usually go out the back! ). Interesting 'pub' food ie Rabbit and Ham Pie. Good well kept Real Ales. Reasonable Prices. Best table is in front of the large open Log Fire on a winters day. Good everyday pub.

Recently won the local pub of the year (News And Mail newspaper group) for the Fleet area. Beers are Fullers London Pride, Triple fff Altons Pride, Courage Best and a guest. They are always good, although (if I had to criticise) can sometimes be too cold - I buy two (different ones) at a time and if one is cold drink the other one first. Beer lines are regularly well cleaned to give a very clear pint. As for service, the staff are friendly, but I sometimes wish they would actively look for empty glasses rather than expect customers to call for service - this is probably a gripe everywhere, not just here or for me. Overall I like this pub very much and drink here through choice :-)

Despite the recent comment (with no specifics given), this is a child friendly establishment, I often take my family to eat there as the food is good and the beer is excellent - Fullers London Pride, Triple fff Alton's Pride and a guest from a list of championship beers.

DO NOT VISIT WITH A FAMILY - pretense is that this is a child friendly pub. It most certainly is not, unless you intend to turn up, eat and leave immediately. AVOID AT ALL COSTS WITH SMALL CHILDREN

Not bad but doesn't quite hit the spot. Came here for dinner with some colleagues and enjoyed the beer and the atmosphere. it has half decent beer, although it won't excite anyone after local brews. The food is good and served by friendly staff. Certainly worth a visit if you like horses - there is plenty of memorabilia scattered around the place.

Came in here for a swift pint on a Saturday afternoon and it seemed fairly quiet. Opted for a pint of Courage (3.05) that was well kept. The pub has a dart board, pool table, Sky TV and what appears to be a lounge/dining area. The decor is characterised by novelty signs etc and it has quite a welcoming feel to it.
It's worth popping in if you're passing by and is not too bad a pub.
7/10.

Now run by Maz and Nigel, they have developed the restaurant side and as such is well worth eating there. As for the beer, there are Adnams Best, London Pride (3.15) and Courage Best. The Adnams and Pride are always in good condition (I don't drink the Courage, but I expect that's well kept too). The staff are friendly and usually(!) attentive. This is my pub of choice in the area.

Still known as the North Horns to us old local boys this place is going through a bit of a resurgence at the moment. Food is good and prices are good too, can be a bit of a locals place in evenings but less so these days than in previous times.

I agree with Jim, this pub has a great atmosphere. Winston is brilliant, everyone sings and even dances along to the music. He only plays every other Friday. They also have theme night etc. I haven't eaten there yet, but have been told that the food is very good.

They have great Live Music on a friday. Chill with Winston night. Also a great venue for weddings, the beer is good and the food is excellent. Very good

The bar staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant. I have to agree with Tim, they do run out of beer and spirits far too regularly, I cannot see any reason why a pub should be in this position so many times.

Have had just too many occasions now where they have run out of beer and spirits, which is totally unacceptable. Sadly I can no longer recommend this pub.

Making an effort on the real ale front - Fullers London Pride and Shepherd Neame Spitfire are regulars plus a guest which usually tends to be quite good
