Good little pub, sat in the little beer garden with the dog and ate lunch, food good. Pleasant visit.

A great pub with that is always accompanied with a warm welcomed by staff. After a mountain bike ride in the nearby MOD land this is a good place for a stop off for a cold beer and a bite to eat.

Came her for Fathers' Day this year for lunch with my family and some friends too - was very impressed with the food and also London Pride was on form. The restaurant was packed but we'd already decided to sit outside as the weather was fine.

Good traditional pub with Horse Racing theme. Generally nice and Quiet, no noisy families (they usually go out the back! ). Interesting 'pub' food ie Rabbit and Ham Pie. Good well kept Real Ales. Reasonable Prices. Best table is in front of the large open Log Fire on a winters day. Good everyday pub.

Recently won the local pub of the year (News And Mail newspaper group) for the Fleet area. Beers are Fullers London Pride, Triple fff Altons Pride, Courage Best and a guest. They are always good, although (if I had to criticise) can sometimes be too cold - I buy two (different ones) at a time and if one is cold drink the other one first. Beer lines are regularly well cleaned to give a very clear pint. As for service, the staff are friendly, but I sometimes wish they would actively look for empty glasses rather than expect customers to call for service - this is probably a gripe everywhere, not just here or for me. Overall I like this pub very much and drink here through choice :-)
