This is now an Italian restaurant.

Signage now reads The Duke, but I went past yesterday & it's already closed down!

This Pub is now known as The Village Inn, run by a friendly fella by the name of Jason.. Does fantastic Tapas food during the week with a traditional Sunday lunch to die for, very well priced and a great friendly atmosphere.. It's a must for live music at weekends and appears to be getting busier and busier.. I shall be returning in a few weeks to try out the Cruzcampo beer they have on draught..Wonderful!!!

Sad to say I go there for the Wifi in the afternoon. I update the machine finish my beer and I am off. I am the only person there. In the evenings I have been there it is quiet with locals stopping off for a quiet pint or three before home. It affects what is now quiet common in the area, mismatching furniture from peoples homes to give an authentic fake atmosphere. Haven't tried the food as I live local.
I suspect that on quiz and entertainment nights it will be busy with its own crowd.

I really like this place, the drinks are good, food is lovely, staff are totally helpful and friendly. I hope it doesn't get overrun by the yummymummy crowd like loads of other decent pubs in the area so it is remains the great place it is for a roast, pint and spot of football on a Sunday, without Tarquin and Jocintas running amok...

come here occasionally, nice atmosphere for a drink but i wouldn't bother with the food at all. they need to work on that a lot!

Ran by Dick from Cork. With fireplace, sofas and a very decent menu, from chunky chips to steak and kidney pies (all fresh and home-made). They now do an Ulster fry up on Saturdays and roast on Sundays. A gem that the East Dulwich/Peckham crowd hasn't quite discovered yet. Highly recommended!

A lovely pub. The staff are nice people and the art is fab. I'm not sure if they still have the quiz on a Thursday night but it used to be a lot of fun! Be warned though that if the same quizmaster is there you could be there for a while...

A chilled out, friendly place on the right side of scruffy. Looks like they has a disco in the back but I've not made that yet....

An excellent pub run by friendly people. Relaxing live music, good food and great laid-back, but fashionable, atmosphere make this my favorite pub in South London. They've set the pace for other pubs starting up in up-and -coming Nunhead.

This is a nice old fashioned pub in Nunhead South East London. Shame its in such a midle-of-nowhere place. Some of the old Goldsmith Tavern lot (New Cross)go here I believe. Occasionally has live music.
