blue scrumpy, possibly not served due to being in a bunch of scouse footie fans; cant say I blame them

Poor example of a pub/restaurant. We only wanted drinks. But they refused to serve us, as we were a large group. 0/10 as no beer was being served, unless you were prepared to wait 2 hours for a table and to have a meal. For a much better experience in Lille, try La Capsule. We stumbled across a 'Meet The Brewers' event there and it happened to be the Thornbridge brewers. About a dozen ales on offer there from all around Europe and a pleasant crowd to boot. Avoid Les Trois Brasseurs unless you want to eat.

Excellent pub - 5 or 6 beers brewed on the premises. The seasonal 7.9% was awsome yesterday. Gets very busy at lunchtime when they don't really appreciate large groups of non-eaters unless sitting outside.

With all the copper piping and dials it's a bit like sitting in Captain Nemo's 'Nautilus'. Fairly expensive if you're from the UK, but good value. Ambre was the best of the brews. Friendly staff who smiled rather than laughed at my schoolboy French - always a plus.

Excellent beer brewed before your very eyes!

Excellent brew pub opposite Lille Flandres station (500m from Lille TGV Eurostar) Great Ambree and Blanche de Lille, food quite competent - almost Wetherspoon's with a French flavour
