Went here on 5 & 6 June. Wonderful food, very good service and very friendly staff. Will go out of my way to visit again, and try the draught beers - wasn't up to it when we visited as it was just after our wedding on the 4th.

Quite near to where I live and I couldn't be more pleased. Looks great from the outside, great on the inside and great out back. A proper local with friendly staff and punters contributing to the good atmosphere plus open fires, a pub quiz and visiting bands. A good local is like an extension of your living room I always think and this place has certainly got that feel about it. Tim Taylor, Pride, Harveys, Bombardier on tap as well as some great locals - Golden Braid from Hopdaemon is going down very well with me at the moment plus decent pub grub

Popped in during a cycle ride. Very pleased to see that in the two years since I last visited, standards have been maintained. Five ales on, and a cider. And the food was excellent, served by friendly helpful staff. I shan't leave the next visit so long...

Nice pub with wood interior. Friendly staff, good selection of ales (though not all available). Soft drinks nice and cold. Good selection of pub food, delivered quickly. Jukebox available with a selection of 100 CDs. Games available, both traditional (table football, skittles) and modern (one arm bandit type and video quiz). Ample parking and front and back gardens.
