A very pleasant traditional local pub. Two rooms, the rear room having a pool table, the front being the bar area. A good welcome from the barman and three beers on draught at time of visit, all of which were in good condition. All in all a good little pub to seek out, and not too far off the main street of Falmouth.

Great little pub, a real gem with friendly atmosphere. The best of the 3 real ale bars in Falmouth with the seven stars and beerwolf close behind
One of the best proper pubs left..Execellant landlady and landlord, serve perfect pint of real ale, warm friendly atmosphere always.

Been drinking at the oddies for over twenty years and the only rude people I've seen have been a few customers, I was never one of course! Looking forward to going down at the weekend for some lovely Sharpes Special and great company. Long may Vicky and Jay keep going.

Well it transpires that the Urbantraveller who has left a negative review on this sight and others is a disgraced customer who had to be phsically removed from the Oddfellows,on the evening of Burns night, when we were holding a charity bingo evening,he and a friend with a huge dog(horse size)arrived at the pub just after the bingo started, bought two halves of ale and joined in the bingo, they had obviously had more to drink than it first seemed because they started barracking the bingo caller, they then let their horse of the lead to wander around a small busy pub,I went over and asked them if they wouldn't mind putting the dog/horse back on the lead, and to this the responce was Urbantraveller started arguing, wanting to know why and then started calling me a Fascist and becoming very abusive towards me verbally!!ended up with said Urbantraveller, friend and dog/horse being phsically removed fron the premises.while being removed Mr Urbantraveller came out with a barrage of threats in which he was going to ruin my pub,so his master plan for this was to leave negative reviews containing nothing but lies on review sites,Muppet.Anyway the Bingo evening carried on after we ejected the riff raff (before they finished their halves!) and we raised lots of money for Cystic Fibrosis,Happy Days.

I agree caliwag what a bizarre review!!certainly Urbantrveller's comments do not reflect this pub at all, which as everyone knows whether locals or visitor's there is always a very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere!!And in the extremely rare occasion a pint, which is not up to standerd is served(and trust me i have very high standereds when it comes to beer quality)then without question the beer is changed. So i am very sorry this review has been posted as my husband and I work very hard to keep this pub running as a very special little local, welcoming everyone, and always serving excellent ales!!!

Bloody hell, how unusual is that...bizarre
A bad experience, won't be going again. Very cold and hostile. A bad pint and they wouldn't change it! insisted it was fine. As a brewer myself I knew otherwise.
Visited on a Monday afternoon about 3 o'clock so only a couple other people in. It's a nice quiet pub with a relaxed atmosphere. An ideal place to take a newspaper and have a bit of quiet time to yourself if you want to get away from it all.
Or...Rocktail (geddit!!) mix of Own and Special!
Bays Gold @ 3 was excellent. Friendly staff but not busy on a Tuesday. Sharp's Own & Special: 3,10.
Was ok, but no atmosphere as the place was deserted. Beer was good though
Excellent locals pub. If I lived there I'd use it all the time.
Nice friendly local, well kept beer. What more does anyone need?
This is vicki landlady/owner of the oddies,I've been running the pub for 17 years now and am very fortunate to have such a wonderfull selection of locals, who make my job so entertaining! We all love to meet new people, so if you like a proper local pub the oddies is the place to be.And a massive thankyou to all the lovely comments.

Mmm...Sharps bought by Coors. Bah, how long before that brewery disappears? Well there's always Skinners and St Austell, to say nothing of all the new micros in Cornwall...maybe it'll do 'em favour.
Same owner for the many years I understand, but pleased you enjoyed the welcome. I visit several times a year and it's my second home...what else can I say?
Seems to have new owners here. On a recent visit made to feel very welcome.
A locals Pub just off the main street in Falmouth, with superb Sharps beers; Own and Special, the Pub's best seller were on when I went in. Locals are friendly and made us welcome, which was not the case in some of the other Pubs we visited.
Excellent beers and great atmosphere, especially darts nights. The locals are entertaining and friendly, could not think of anywhere else to spend a relaxing evening.
Very friendly pub run by a welcoming couple. Whilst they don't do food, don't be surprised if cheese or the splendid home-made pate and biscuits don't appear on the bar. Local and a some national papers too. Quiz night and free pool table in back room.
This is a most excellent pub, a wee bit off the beaten track. Sharps is the predominant brew and the guest ale on gravity could be from out of town.
The pub does not do food, so one is encouraged to provide their own.
The front bar can become lively at times but the back room with a pool table is an area of contemplation
great pub, but up some very steep steps, worth the effort though
Lovely pub up steps away from the town centre. Enjoyed a couple of Sharps beers here when we visited in August.
Pleasant little pub tucked away just up the hill from the town centre
